Security & Access Controls:
- Production access is restricted to designated operations or DevOps roles.
- Configuration and secrets are protected with envelope encryption using AWS Key Management Service (KMS), with access granted through least-privilege IAM roles.
- Production network traffic is denied by default, both inbound and outbound. Each service may communicate only with the specific internal services and approved external endpoints.
Deployment Strategy:
- Use CI/CD pipelines to ensure secure and automated delivery to testing and production environments without manual developer intervention.
